Nothing needs to be re-entered when a proposal turns into an invoice — it carries straight over.
Mark a proposal Accepted and it automatically becomes an invoice, found under the From Proposals tab on the Invoices page — with the exact same events, photobooks, products, and pricing it had as a proposal. You don't rebuild anything.
Open the invoice and use Record payment — enter the amount, date, payment method, and any notes. The invoice tracks Paid and Balance due automatically as you log each payment, and you can record as many payments as it takes to settle the full amount.
If you set a default payment schedule, the invoice shows the planned stages (e.g. Booking, First, Second, Final) alongside what's actually been paid, so you can see at a glance whether a client is on track.
Set an invoice's status to Active, Cancelled, or Bad debt as needed — useful for keeping your reports accurate when a job falls through or a payment is written off.
Download a branded invoice PDF anytime — it reflects whatever's been recorded so far, including your bank details and signature/stamp if you've set those up.
