Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data TaKo Studio ("we", "us") collects when you use our proposal-building service (the "Service"), and how we use, store, and protect it.

1. What we collect

Account & studio information: studio name, email, phone, address, website, and the owner's name and email, collected when you sign up.

Content you upload: your logo, brand colors, portfolio photos, client names and contact details, and the events/pricing/terms you enter into your proposals.

Payment information: we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank account numbers. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay, our payment processor; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, and a reference ID.

Usage data: basic technical data like IP address and login timestamps, used for security (e.g. rate-limiting repeated failed logins) and to maintain an activity log of actions on your account.

2. How we use it

• To provide the Service — generating and storing your proposals, galleries, and account settings;
• To process payments and manage your subscription;
• To send account-related email (verification, password reset, trial/renewal reminders) via our email delivery partner, Brevo;
• To respond to support requests you send us;
• To keep the Service secure (detecting abuse, rate-limiting, fraud prevention).

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your studio's client data for advertising or profiling.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run TaKo Studio, currently:

• Razorpay — payment processing;
• Brevo — transactional email delivery (verification, reset, reminders);
• Our hosting provider, to store your account data and uploaded files.

We don't share your data with anyone else except where required by law.

4. Cookies & sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in — no third-party advertising or tracking cookies are set by the Service.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and data deleted, email support@takostudio.in and we'll process the request, subject to any records we're required to keep for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

You can review and update most of your account information directly from your dashboard. For anything else — access, correction, or deletion requests — contact us at the email above.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and isn't directed at anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
