Data storage management

A logbook for your actual photo and video files — which hard disk, whether it's backed up, whether it's been delivered. Not about anything inside TaKo Studio itself.

Adding a record

Go to Data Storage and click Add record. Fill in:

  • Client and Event (e.g. "Wedding Day 1")
  • Content type — Photo, Video, Drone, or Other
  • Event date
  • Storage medium — Hard Disk, SSD, Memory Card, Cloud, or Other
  • Disk number — your own label, e.g. "HDD-014", so you can find the physical drive later
  • Data size (GB) — optional
  • Whether a second copy exists, and where, if it does
  • Whether it's been delivered to the client, and when

Finding a record later

Search by client, event, or disk number, and filter by delivery status (Delivered / Not delivered) or backup status (Has second copy / No second copy) — a fast way to answer "where's the footage for this wedding" or "did we ever back this one up" months after the shoot.
